2012 Christmas Blue and Silver Weimaraner puppies are here! Lockett and Lilli's puppies were born 10/23/12 and Smoky Mountain Weims has already taken deposits on all of these beautiful puppies! We will have live streaming video of the pups each week so you can see your puppy grow. As the puppies get older, we will have streaming video chats so you can ask us questions while watching your puppy online! All our puppies are raised in our home with our family.
Week 4 Update and Video:
Pups are geting bigger by the day. It's amazing to watch them change and grow so fast. We see changes daily, but this is what's happening with them now. First, they are being weaned slowly. Lillie is nursing a 2 - 3 times a day still which helps with natural immunity and growth. However, they have teeth now and they use them...on everything, especially each other. They are still sleeping a lot so life still consists mainly of eat, poop, sleep and maybe a little play in there. When any one of us get in their whelping box, they will climb and paw us until we they get tired. Then they just fall asleep in whatever position they are in. Pretty fun time. We are feeding them moistened and softened Iams Puppy Food. They like it, it softens well and Lillie likes to clean their bowl afterward.
Next week, we will do our first live streaming video. I'll email you this next weekend with a time and place to tune-in. I use Ustream.com with our channel named Smokyweims. I will take texts and emailed requests and questions. All I ask is for you to tell me who I am speaking with at the begining of your message. It's much less confusing that way. I'll show each pup and tell you what we have observed up to this point. We will start the selection process after that show. The process can take a little while to complete so thank you in advance for your patience.
Meanwhile, enjoy the video from this week. Almost all have colored collars on. The 3 females are tourqoise, pink and orange. The rest are males with 1 silver and the lone blue not having collars. Enjoy!
Week 3 Update Notes and Pics: (Nov 11) . Wow! What a big change this week has brought. The pups are walking pretty well now and we've extended the welping box by another 4ft x 4ft. When they start to climb out of the welping box entrance, it's time to give them more space to move around in! We also introduced a combination of enriched puppy formula and ground puppy food today. What a mess! They were really enthusiastic to say the least. It will take them a couple of days to get the hang of eating out of a bowl. We don't want to wean them from Lilli too soon, so just a litte bit of mushy food once a day for now. Other milestones include starting to play together and snuggling in human laps so this is a really fun time for us. Our goal is for the right pup to go to the right home. Several years ago we began the search to find the perfect breeding pair and after viewing many premium puppies, found two superb Weimaraners - Sheriff Lockett the Rocket and Lillie Von Lagniappe. Raised with love in our home, these family dogs are truly exceptional.
Both stud and dam are three years old and they make up what we consider to be the perfect breeding pair. AKC registered with champion breeding lines, our dogs are regularly vet checked and free from any ortho issues. Their puppies will be excellent companions in the home and in the field.

This litter has 11 pups! 3 beautiful silver females and 7 hardy silver males and one magnificent blue male. Silver pups are $700 each, the blue male is $900, and the pick of the litter (choose silver gender) is $900.
