WELCOME TO SMOKY MOUNTAIN WEIMARANERS! We are located in Bryson City, North Carolina, deep in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Several years ago we began the search to find the perfect breeding pair and after viewing many premium puppies, found two superb Weimaraners - Sheriff Lockett the Rocket and Lillie Von Lagniappe. Raised with love in our home, these family dogs are truly exceptional.
We use live video conferencing, as well as regular photo and video updates, during the selection process. This allows you to ask questions and see specifics on each pup, even if your miles away. Usually we start these in the evening and I'll show each pup, tell you what we have observed up to this point and then let you ask questions and requests. We will start the selection process during the 4th week usually.
Both stud (Lockett) and dam (Lillie) are about 4 years old and they make up what we consider to be the perfect breeding pair. AKC registered with champion breeding lines, our dogs are regularly vet checked and free from any ortho issues. Their puppies will be excellent companions in the home and in the field. We sell our pups as companions for life. These pet quality pups; with quality care, training and love will make a great addition to any active family.
Why buy your puppy from Smoky Mountain Weims? All our puppies are handled daily and are well adjusted to being family dogs. Many larger breeders don't have the time or inclination to socialize dogs this way. Having your puppy habituated to the family is key to a well adjusted, outgoing dog. Our family, including daily play time with our two children, will make sure that your puppy has a happy, healthy outlook.
Pups will be ready to go home with their new owners between their 7th and 8th week.
